The Coca-Cola SoundWave Express

Client
Coca-Cola

Brief

Hyperactive were commissioned by Coca-Cola to execute the SoundWave Express project. This involved chartering and branding a train with the Coca-Cola SoundWave visually distinctive look. The train travelled through 6 countries (Denmark, Sweden, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Turkey) over a four month period taking guests to an array of festivals ranging from rock to reggae to dance. The train was 10 carriages long and included a nightclub carriage, a chill out bar and a live music carriage, where bands performed on the smallest stage in history!

Activity

The image of Coca-Cola SoundWave is young, edgy, and visually distinctive and therefore the train had to reflect this. The exterior of the train was fully shrink wrapped so guests could see out of the windows but people could not see in. SoundWave artwork including logos for each of the festivals that SoundWave had a presence at formed part of the overall branding.

Results

Despite a planning lead time of 6 weeks instead of the required 6 months, Hyperactive successfully delivered the SoundWave train experience in all the planned territories.
